If you would have asked me a year ago how much new anime (for me at least) I would seen over the next year, I would never have thought it would be as long of a list that it is. The List used to have only Sailor Moon°, Ranma1/2, Lodoss (OVA)°, Project A-ko°, All Purpose Cultural Cat-girl Nuku Nuku°, and a ~small~ bit (aka nearly none) of Ah! Megami-sama, Vampire Princess Miyu, Tenchi Muyo, Mamono Hunter Yohko, Blueseed, DragonballZ, as well as what the Scifi Channel airs (Iria, Galaxy Express 999, Vampire Hunter D, etc).
Now the list contains Slayers°°°°° (TV, Next, Try, all 4 movies and the Slayers Special OVA), Rayearth°, Fushigi Yuugi° (OVAs not tv series), Lost Universe°, Tenchi Forever, Hameln no Violin-hiki, Nuku Nuku Dash, Vilgust, Mini Ah! Megami-sama° (now in a handy petite size), Lodoss TV series, Dragonhalf, Princess Mononoke, Pokémon (about 10 eps worth and the movie is all), and a stack of dubbed stuff I've yet to watch. And those °s mean I have nearly a whole season (or at least alot) if not more.

None anime news: It's sad that MZB died. I working on reading her last Darkovar novel currently. I still love Michael Whelan's artwork, and others too that I can't remember the names too (THough I think Jody Lee is one of them). I still read the newest Discworld novels the moment I can get my hands on them, and I need to catch up on Anne McCaffrey's stuff. And has Lisanne Normal written another Sholan Alliance book yet? I drew one of my earlier drawings of my Zrana character on the back cover of my local library's copy of Turning Point ^^;;

See? Anime doesn't hold COMPLETE sway over my life.

Yes, I do fanart. It helps me learn to draw in various anime styles, how to draw in general, and I just plain like drawing them. I don't claim they characters as my own, I claim them as being my drawings of them. If you can give me a reliable source where the creator(s) or copyright holders are against fanart from the series I've done so, GIve me the source, and I'll take them down if i must. (And this being anime, from the land of Doujinshi, I find it highly doubtful that there will be such a case.)
